What do I offer?
My bubbly, positive presence on your big day – I am a very social person and my aim is to always make sure everyone feels happy and well looked after.
A level of understanding that can only come from over 10 years of helping couples get married.
This experience means that I take everything in my stride, working with your suppliers to make sure everything runs smoothly and seamlessly, so you don’t have to worry or wonder. I focus on what is important for you on your day.
Friendly and relaxed.
My friends and I love to have a laugh, enjoy catchups for coffee and a great chat. Those who know me know I don’t take myself seriously or try to be someone I’m not.
Two little fur babies run my life, my house and my heart and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Candy and Rooney came into our lives at different times Candy our Moodle, when she was two then six months later Rooney our Cavoodle, who was 15 months. My husband Rod and I, not having children spoil Candy and Rooney a bit too much, I think.
I work in the corporate world full time with a great bunch of people, but it’s the weekends I really look forward to.
I just love weddings. The look of love and joy in the eyes of couples as they get married is a most magical moment and I’m am so privileged to be part of so many such occasions so far. I’m a big romantic and watch anything with the word wedding in the title.
What any Celebrant can do is fill out paperwork, set up a PA and read words from a book. Doesn’t sound very exciting but as many of my couples have said, my ceremonies have been professionally carried out with fun, laughter and personality included. Not my personality but the couples.
My relaxed, intuitive and professional manner means that I make your people feel engaged and are in the moment with you.
I will be well groomed – We have chats about what you would like me to wear at our pre-ceremony meeting.
At the end of the day I fully understand that it is not about me, what I wear and what I say. It is your day and how you feel is the most important thing.
My goal is to take away all the stress on the day so you can take in every wonderful moment. After many discussions with you and a rehearsal, I will understand what it is you both want for your special day. So, enjoy the ride that is your wedding day.

Renewal of Vows
Any married couple, of any age, and married for any length of time, can arrange a Renewal of Marriage Vows Ceremony. This ceremony is for any loving couple that wish to celebrate renewing their marriage vows in a unique and personal ceremony.
Often these ceremonies are associated with a special wedding anniversary, or when a couple have been through a period which has put a strain on their relationship, but wish to renew their commitment to each other.
Or maybe you were not able to have the ceremony of your choice on your wedding day. After meeting with you both, together we can word your ceremony to reflect your time together so far and what you feel will be in your future.
As no two couples are the same, neither is their marriage. You could even keep it a surprise from each other. Your children, family or friends or any other loved ones can take part in your ceremony –. You may like to ask two people to witness the signing of the Certificate of the event.
There are no legal elements to these ceremonies so it can be as mild or wild as you like. A unique ceremony that you and all your guests will remember for many years to come…what a great reason to get everyone together for a party.Contact Jeanette
A naming ceremony is a great alternative to a Christening. The Naming ceremony celebrates the birth and naming of a baby or mark and celebrate an occasion where a child, adolescent or adult has changed their name. They are also a great way to welcome adopted children or step children into the family.
Naming ceremonies give parents, family and friends the chance to affirm their special relationship with the child and declare their intention to support and guide the child through life.
It is also a time to appoint Mentors/God Parents / Life Guides, to explain the meaning of the name chosen and relationships with siblings, Grandparents or special friends.
You can choose any location to have a naming ceremony and as there is no legal element involved, you can include your own personality into words, action you choose.
Together we can also create special certificates with some examples I have to give you inspiration.Contact Jeanette
Commitment Ceremonies have no legal elements therefore are not legally binding. Other than that, they are just like a wedding ceremony. Couples can read vows to each other, exchange rings and any other inclusions they like.
Jeanette was absolutely amazing! my husband and I can not recommend JD ceremonies enough. She made planing the ceremony a breeze helping us every step of the way and gave us so many different options to personalise every moment and tweak it to make our dreams come true.
The ceremony was beautiful, happy and perfect for us, and everyone enjoyed the amazing day. Jeanette was helpful, generous and reassuring throughout the entire process, and we have no hesitation in recommending her. Jeanette is wonderful!
We’re so happy that we chose you to marry us! Thank you for taking the time to get to know us on a personal level and understand our unique love story. Every step of the way felt like a breeze and you made us feel so comfortable from the first moment to our special day (even if i made a mistake with my vowels haha) Thank you for everything that you did to ensure our day was beautiful
Highly recommend Jeanette! Her lovely personality and professionalism made the whole process relaxing from start to finish. Having her be part of our day made it even more special.
Can’t say enough about Jeanette! She was lovely, bubbly but also so professional. Wade and I wanted a very casual ceremony and Jeanette was right on the mark. She is A+
My wife Laura and I were lucky enough to have Jeanette as our celebrant for our wedding in Bowral on March 30th. The ceremony was everything we could have hoped for, with Jeanette going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect on the day. She was very professional and organised, delivering a very beautiful and personal ceremony, even with less than ideal conditions on the day. (strong wind and very cold).
I’d highly recommend Jeanette to anybody who is looking for a comfortable and memorable ceremony, thanks for helping us have such a great day!
